FAQ
Questions, answered
The things people ask before they start. Still unsure? The 14-day trial needs no card, so the cheapest way to find out is to try it.
Is this actually as good as a real coach?
For body recomposition, most of what a good coach does is rule-based: check adherence before adjusting macros, enforce phase limits, schedule diet breaks, flag patterns in your data. AskCoach follows those same rules, every day, without forgetting. Where a human coach still wins is hands-on technique correction and complex medical situations.
How is this different from MyFitnessPal or MacroFactor?
Those are tracking apps. They record what you eat. AskCoach is a coaching app. It reads your logs, checks them against your full history, detects patterns, enforces phase rules, adjusts your macros with reasoning, and catches risk signals before they compound. Tracking is an input. Coaching is the output.
What data do you store?
Your daily logs, training sessions, photos, and coach conversations. Stored in encrypted Postgres with row-level security. We never sell data or use it for ad targeting.
What happens after the 14 days?
$17.99 AUD/week, billed through Stripe. Cancel anytime from your settings. No lock-in, no cancellation fees, no "call us to cancel" nonsense.
Is it only for Australians?
Built in Australia, works anywhere. Pricing is in AUD. The food catalogue is Australia-first but works globally. The AI adapts to your locale.
Can I use it during my workout?
Yes. The training session tracker is built for live use. Log sets, RPE, and rest timers as you go. Record form videos mid-set. It works offline too.
